The product field<\/strong> is a powerful feature of AbcSubmit drag and drop website and form builder<\/a>, which allows you to sell items online<\/strong> in custom quantities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Note: Consider adding a shopping cart<\/a><\/strong> and configure a payment gateway<\/strong> in combination with this type of field.<\/p>\n

How to set the minimum and maximum quantity that the user can order<\/strong>?<\/h4>\n

You can use the Minimum value<\/strong> and Maximum value<\/strong> settings located in the Validation<\/strong> group of settings<\/p>\n

How to set whether the quantity is of type float or of type integer<\/strong>?<\/h4>\n

You can use the Format<\/strong> setting located in the Validation<\/strong> group of settings<\/p>\n

I’ve added some products, but nothing happens<\/strong> when the user press on the “Add” (to cart) button. What next?<\/h4>\n

In order to provide the ability of seeing and removing what products a user added to it’s shopping cart<\/a><\/strong>, you must also add a Shopping cart field<\/a> in your website or form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After I submit the form containing my products, I am not redirected to a Payment Gateway<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This is because you must first configure your payment gateway<\/strong> by pressing the \"Payments button located in your top main application toolbar, then click on the \"Configure button on the popup window that opens.<\/p>\n

1. Product<\/h2>\n

Use this group of settings in order to modify all of your product-related settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>1.1. Product title<\/h3>\n

From this setting you can modify the title<\/strong> (name) of your product<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>1.2. Product description<\/h3>\n

Modify this setting in order to set the description of your product<\/strong>. By using our rich text editor, you can even use bold, italic, links and headlines in your product description<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>1.3. Product picture<\/h3>\n

Use this setting to upload a picture for your product<\/strong>. The picture must be max “512” pixels width, and max “512” pixels height.<\/p>\n

Please note that this setting is a premium one<\/strong>, because it requires file storage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>1.4. Unit type<\/h3>\n

Use the Unit type setting in order to specify the type of measurement you are using to quantify this product<\/strong>. For example, if you are selling beer bottles, the unit type is “bottle”<\/strong> (or “piece”), if you are selling flowers the unit type is “flower”<\/strong> (or “piece”), and if you are selling cables, then the unit type will be “meter” or “feet”<\/strong>, depending on your length measurement system from your country.<\/p>\n

<\/a>1.5. Unit price<\/h3>\n

The price of a unit<\/strong> (see Unit type setting<\/em>). Float (real, decimal) numbers are allowed<\/strong> (containing maximum 2 decimals<\/strong>). The currency of the Unit price can be set by clicking the “Payments and Invoicing”<\/strong> dialog that appears when you click on the \"Payments button from the application top toolbar.<\/p>\n

Currently, we support 3 modes of displaying a product<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Picture left<\/strong> – The picture of the product is displayed on the left side of the text<\/strong> from the product<\/p>\n

Picture right<\/strong> – The picture of the product is displayed on the right side of the text<\/strong> from the product<\/p>\n

Picture top<\/strong> – The picture of the product is displayed centered, before the text<\/strong> of the product<\/p>\n
